Discover Seine-Maritime during your camping holiday

Between sea and countryside,
a rich territory to explore

Seine-Maritime is a land where the sea and the countryside have made a beautiful marriage. The majestic cliffs of the Côte d’Albâtre, immortalized by Monet and the most famous Impressionist painters, are the jewels of this little corner of Normandy, which lives to the rhythm of the tides.

The Seine-Maritime département boasts a rich historical and natural heritage , which you can explore by following one of the many footpaths or tourist trails that will immerse you in the region’s culture.

Towns and villages
to visit and marvel at

Halfway between Paris and England, Dieppe is a coastal town known for its fishing port.

The marine city and surrounding villages form a region of contrasting blue and green. It is also a popular holiday destination with its pebble beaches and cliffs.

Dieppe is famous for its medieval castle and maritime museum. A historic seaside resort with a spa, casino, golf course and racecourse, Dieppe is also a port where fishing and yachting coexist. Fresh fish is sold directly on the quayside, as is the famous scallop, for which Dieppe remains France’s leading port.

With its Blue Flag label, the marina is booming and regularly hosts prestigious nautical events such as the Solitaire du Figaro and the Tour de France à la voile.

Perched on the cliff, the old château museum houses the region’s immense maritime memory, that of the sailors who set out to discover the world, and that of the first sea baths.

A little further inland, or on the coast, you’ll find dovecotes, castles and remarkably flower-filled gardens in the beautiful countryside so well described by Maupassant, while the forest, also just a stone’s throw away, guarantees refreshing walks.
